Food Scholorship

In accordance with Article 46 of Law No. 2547, the "Higher Education Institutions, Medico-Social Health, Culture and Sports Affairs Department Implementation Regulation," and Article 5 of the Ondokuz Mayıs University Student Meal Scholarship Directive, the University Executive Board's Decision No. 2025/713 approved the provision of meal scholarships to low-income students in the 2025-2026 academic year.

2025-2026 Academic Year Meal Scholarship Procedures Application and Evaluation Schedule

  1. Announcements regarding meal scholarships will be posted in the units where students can see them.

  2. Students must submit their meal scholarship applications between November 20 and 28, 2025, at "portal.omu.edu.tr" (Username: ogrencino@omu.edu.tr Password: Your student information system login password).

  3. Applications from students who fill out the meal scholarship application forms with incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information will not be accepted and will be considered invalid. Disciplinary action will be taken against these students if necessary.

  4. Applications will be evaluated by the relevant units by a Meal Scholarship Determination Committee composed of at least three people.

  5. Units will list the students applying for meal scholarships in order of priority, in accordance with the decisions of the Meal Scholarship Determination Committee, and enter these applications into the system by the end of business on December 3, 2025. The lists created by the relevant units will be reported to the SKSDB by the end of business on December 5, 2025.

  6. The list of students eligible to receive a meal scholarship will be announced on the Department of Health, Culture and Sports' website by the end of the second week of December 2025.

  7. Meal scholarship procedures will be conducted in accordance with the "OMU Student Meal Scholarship Directive."

  8. Students eligible for a meal scholarship must be using the Akbank SoliClub app or have applied for a "Transition Card" from SKSDB.

NOTE: The period for using student IDs to eat meals will end on November 28, 2025.
